My passion for event planning started in 2001 when I was a work study student at a non profit agency that provided services for people with diabetes through education and awareness. Once I graduated from college in 2002 with my degree in Marketing, I was hired as a contractor to assist with scheduling the education classes and prepare marketing materials. I was then hired permanently in 2003 and asked to assist at health fairs with screenings and distributing information to participants. In about a year or two, I moved on to planning health fairs for the agency and becoming a brand ambassador. At the same time, while a member of the Health and Wellness ministry at my church, I became co-chair and was involved in planning lots of health events for my church and other churches in the community.

In my personal life, I was asked by family and friends to plan their events from weddings to birthday parties. I was getting many compliments and much supportive feedback that it sparked and idea in me that I should start my own business. Event planning has become a passion for me and I enjoy every part of what I do.

I decided to name my business Moments By Stella because I wanted to set myself apart from other event planning businesses. At Moments by Stella, we are a team that is led by the imaginative and creative Stella Jones.  From weddings to birthday parties to fundraisers, we do it all, powered by a passion for planning elegant events and a fantastic eye for detail.
